Studies show kids are too afraid to say the wrong thing to talk about their struggles. A lot of young people struggle in silence. Teen girls in the U.S. are “engulfed in a growing wave of sadness, violence, and trauma.” One of the most mental disorders affecting children nowadays, ADHD, is also linked to sleep disorders, anxiety, and depression, especially in teenage girls. ABHS will rely on gender differences and age to tailor the psychiatric services to reach higher quality and the best patient-centered outcome.
