  • Arising Behavioral Services provides workshops in an individual or group setting to assist stakeholders in preventing workplace violence, as required by the recent CMS Memorandum requiring "Violence Prevention."

  • ABHS has consultants who analyze and provide assistance with the current workplace violence prevention program each facility already has in place, as required by each facility's assessment.

  • ABHS works in collaboration with stakeholders and facility staff when requested to identify and diffuse "distrustful behavior" that undermines morale, teamwork, leadership, and loyalty, as well as performance, productivity, and the high turnovers our industry has been facing.

  • ABHS provides work-related therapy in individual and group settings, such as workshops, to assist each organization or facility to increase work performance, productivity, and profitability by working with each facility to address diversity in the workplace.

  • will ensure an appropriate comprehensive assessment of each resident upon admission, quarterly, and during any change in condition. To ensure that all residents receiving care at the facility receive the best possible care

  • Arising Behavioral Services provides proper consultation to the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to ensure individualized baseline care plans for mental health services within 48 hours of a resident’s admission.

  • To promote or maintain the resident’s highest practicable mental, physical, and psychosocial well-being, ABHS conducts proper assessments, individual care, and treatment to ensure each resident’s entire drug or medication regimen is managed and monitored.

  • To provide psychotherapy services to ensure person-centered assessments, interventions, and treatment.

  • ABHS staff conduct quarterly Gradual Drug Reduction (GDR) to determine if symptoms, conditions, or risks can be managed by a lower dose or if the dose or medication can be discontinued.

  • To ensure psychotropic medications are only used when they are necessary and PRN use is limited, ABHS provides consultation to facility staff by conducting a chart review of residents who are currently on its caseload to ensure compliance.

  • ABHS works with facility staff to ensure PRN orders for antipsychotic drugs are limited to 14 days and cannot be renewed unless the attending physician or prescribing practitioner evaluates the resident for the appropriateness of the medication.

  • In order to ensure proper individualized care for residents with mental and psychosocial disorders, as well as residents with a history of trauma and/or post-traumatic stress disorder, ABHS will first provide housewide training, followed by quarterly education to all staff as designated by the facility.
